We are looking for a technology- and business-oriented team player with vision, who knows how to take raw data, break it down into its components, and translate it into business insights and stable systems.
The role requires a unique combination of core BI and data development, together with the analytical capabilities of a business analyst who can work directly with clients, quickly learn their professional world, lead requirements-gathering and consulting processes, and proactively suggest metrics and insights – rather than simply receive technical work requests.
What You’ll Do
- Requirements gathering, consulting, and client leadership:Gather business requirements, translate complex business needs into data architecture, provide professional consulting, initiate solutions, and confidently represent the professional perspective in front of different organizational levels, either on-site at the client or remotely.
- Advanced validation and analysis:Work with AI-based applications and systems, while carrying out thorough validation and quality assurance of system outputs and responses through complex SQL queries directly against the DWH and server.
- End-to-end development:Plan and develop Data Warehouses, from semantic models to advanced dashboards.
What You’ll Bring
- Advanced SQL Server skills -mandatory:Ability to write complex queries and Stored Procedures, with a deep understanding of large and complex data structures.
- Advanced Power BI skills -mandatory:Expertise in proper model architecture, extensive and in-depth use of DAX, and adherence to leading industry best practices.
- Application-oriented UI/UX mindset -mandatory:Experience designing clean and functional dashboards with the look and feel of an advanced SaaS product.
- Data Architecture and DWH:Proven experience in the end-to-end planning, requirements definition, and modeling of Data Warehouses using STAR and SNOWFLAKE schemas.
- Development and integration tools:Experience developing with SSIS and a programming background in Python, including writing scripts for ETL, integrations, analysis, and automation.
- Working in the AI era:Familiarity and experience with code- and AI-based development environments. A critical requirement is the ability to work intelligently and responsibly with LLMs, without blindly relying on model outputs, while applying professional judgment, cross-checking data, and performing manual validation.
